Corvette Nationals 27th - 28th June 2015 - Mon 12 Jan 15 15:06

Hello all,

Now you’ve got over playing with all of your Corvette related Christmas gifts (okay, own up, who got given a C7?) - let’s get onto the other big event of the year - the 2015 Corvette Nationals.

We’re still hard at work in the background making more arrangements to make this another great weekend of fun, friendship and Corvette appreciation, we’ll be duplicating a number of aspects that seemed to work well last year, whilst adding back in more to make it more of a whole weekend event:
Biggest display of Corvettes in the UK
Voted and judged awards for member cars in a substantial number of categories
Talks from long time enthusiasts and specialists
Sunday live music
Guest clubs and cars
And if you want a break from all this intense four wheeled (and perhaps two wheeled) action then there are the excellent facilities of Wood Green and their animal displays.

We are retaining the venue of The Wood Green Animal Shelter near Godmachester, Huntingdon. In addition, we have made reservations for rooms at the Holiday Inn, based on the good feedback we had from last year’s Corvette residents. Camping on the field will again also be made available for those booking it.

We can confirm the Hotel details will be posted shortly in the members only section.

In addition we are putting on a changed Saturday evening meal and event. This time we will be doing this at the show location. A shuttle bus will be provided between the hotel and the showground so we can enjoy a Saturday evening as a less separated group - so eat , drink, meet up with friends new and old. Live music will also be provided, and with persuasion I’m sure another quiz can be written…

…those that liked our little trek to Northampton last year, we’ll look at opportunities for a Saturday cruise at some point for those who wish to exercise their steeds.

So, what do you need to do next:
Save the dates of the 27th and 28th of June 2015 for your attendance of the CCCUK Nationals
Make your booking for the hotel or camping as you see fit
Get polishing/finishing that car ready for the day

As they say in the advert - simples!
