Window passenger side not working

Ok, so i went for a drive in my 1994 C4, and both windows went up and down fine. The next day the passenger window does not work/respond at all. Even when using drivers side switch, nothing.
Anyone any ideas? (It was going up and down just nicely and not making any noises. Chance something has become loose or disconnected maybe?)

Had the same on my 92, a simple brute force solution fixed it, banged the door panel hard in the area near to the switch, it fixed it and never had the problem again. Reckon a simple loose terminal problem, or stuck motor 👍

If it's anything like my 81 C3, when both sides stopped more or less simultaneously, the motor may failed (mine both fell to bits) Hope it's something easy like a loose wire but you may need to take the door card off to find out:(

thanks guys, good advice. I got lucky this time. After opening and closing the the door a lot , with no success, I gave the inside of the door a firm whack, just were the door handle is, and its started working again! We will see how long for.......

Maybe worth taking the door panel off and checking the connections? Could be the plastic membrane isn't there and it's all getting crusty
