Need a jack and cross beam adaptor that fit each other

Jeez I never thought this was going to be this difficult. If I lift the puck from my jack I have a hole of 25mm diameter. I found a beam adaptor with a pin of 25mm but when it arrived it was 30mm. I cannot find anything else. I also want another jack - so I am looking for a jack and a cross beam adaptor that fit each other.

Does anyone know if such a duo exist?

I have found such an animal on the Draper site but the cost of their adaptors are in another league to me

Lordee deathly hush. Well I have solved it by buying an angle grinder and tomorrow I hope that the 30mm pin will be removed from the x beam adaptor and problem gone

I don't know how big the pin is (i.e. if it is welded into a long beam or just a cylindrical adapter) - but a lathe would a good tool to achieve this - if you lived nearer and it wasn't too big for my small machine I'd have said I'll take the 5mm off the OD...

Re: Need a jack and cross beam adaptor that fit each other

Thanks for the offer Smile I did think about trying to grind off the excess diameter but the pin is not really needed, the end result will be just like laying a block of wood on the jack, not that difficult! Just another example of companies doing their best to get customers not to buy their products - same as today when I was trying to buy some wood - no click and collect but we can deliver as long as you spend 100 minimum
