Not strictly today.. but sent car off to top guys at Custom Exotics to take a lot of my custom bits off the car and get car back to near stock (ish) ready to sell on and go to a new owner.. been a lot of work and great 5 years with a great car, but time for a change now.. Sad to see her go.. still looks fantastic with bits removed ( Splitter , Grand Sport Wheels, C6 Steering wheel upgrade, racing seats etc)

Drove back from a nice week-end in Sheffield with relatives. With dry roads and a fair amount of sunshine the C5 was superb to drive as always, just a shame about the traffic jam for the last 8 miles which took almost an hour.

Just made the 9 mile drive from home this sunny morning to take the `Purple Peril` C3 back to its snuggly , secure storage rental after picking it up Saturday from Paragon Auto in Northampton . Had new diff fitted and replaced rear suspension bushes and drive shaft UJ`s whilst it was all apart as all showed signs of inevitable wear . Took the opportunity to ditch the cat whilst they were at it and have straight through pipe fitted.
Sounds awesome and performance feels a tad crisper too Very Happy
Took it for a blast through the Cotswolds yesterday with my darling wife and self confessed petrol head just for the fun of it and wake up half of Warwickshire Laughing
Stow on the Wold had recovered from the sound of the new exhaust after we parked up when a stunning customized bright orange late 60`s Chevy Camaro rumbled through and woke them all up again ! Laughing

Fitted a new fuel filter to the C3 to cure the starvation issues - a full throttle 3rd gear extended 'charge' up to a shift lighted 6000 rpm proved fuel flow was fine (on private runway naturally!)
