Hello,

I am in need of a replacement battery for my 1997 C5, but searching on line for replacement has drawn a blank.I have been through all the major suppliers so am at a loss........any ideas?

Just bought one of these for the C6 Z06, also added a battery disconnect switch
so it doesnt run flat in between runs.
Cheaper than an Optima, been through two in 4 years.

Hello there , if you put your optimiser on a timer , I e two hours in morning then two hours overnight it will last for many years , I speak with years of experience on m/s and cars too many to list . Barry

Try a Numax 78-630. I bought one on Ebay for around 60 or 70 pounds. The terminals are front mounting and you need to buy two short 3/8 bolts to attach your battery leads to the battery.

I have always used Optimas because they don't leak, they fit a treat and the terminal posts are in the correct position. Probably had about 5. Never had a problem and they always seem to be in stock.

Used these on my Chevy truck and my old C3, the one on the truck is probably 3 years old and it is left outside and sometimes not started for months on end a starts perfectly, great value!
