Re: Most expensive petrol

Jet petrol for 1.11 here (KA19 SW Scotland), or BP for 1.13.

Don't need no superunleaded for a Corvette, but I tend to avoid supermarket fuel if I can, although the tanker drivers tell me its all the same when they fill up at Grangemouth (..each brand pours in its own additive, but the supermarket tankers don't bother)

Re: Most expensive petrol

Ye Gods ! 1.13 for BP Surprised I always knew we got ripped off around Northampton area , have done for years as I am sure all petrol companies have a cartel going in this area.
You can drive around posh areas of Warwickshire , Buckinghamshire etc where property prices are stratospheric and find cheaper petrol . How does that work ?? BP are always the most expensive so never use them . Would rather walk !
BP usually a minimum of 1.23 / 1.24 for bog standard stuff , Shell is around 1.21 .99 but I use a petrol station near a large Tesco so they have to compete and is 1.18 .99 . But I always use V Max in Hemi Jeep and Corvette , more bang for your bucks and with double points on loyalty card the money back vouchers every few months helps even out the cost Very Happy

Re: Most expensive petrol

Corvettes really don't need premium fuel. Regular stuff is fine which is just as well as I'm currently doing about 600miles per month.
