Re: Removing the in Dashboard 90 c4 corvette

1) Dont need to on a '84-89 flat/digi dash.
2) Not in your Haynes manual?
3) When you say "drop," do you mean more than just putting the steering column in it's lowest (adjustable) position?
4) Looking quickly, cant find anything on this on the web (including YouTube).

So above is probably not really helpful?

Nothing in the Haynes manual
Already looked on you tube nothing for the 90-96
Putting the steering column in it's lowest (adjustable) position it still look tight

Don't know why you need to do it, but does this help?

Just take a deep breath. I had never tackled one of these before but after 2 hours it looked like this, and hour later airbags in, dash in, will finish off tomorrow as it got dark.

If its a digital dash, just remove the dash top by removing all the screws under the edge and sides and the two in the defrost vent, then pull forward and off.

Take off the plastic frames etc around the dash and this will let you access the bulb area.

Don't need to remove the steering wheel or drop the column. Beware of bits of plastic cracking around the screws as you do this. I stick the screws to a bit of tape to remind me which they are.

Good luck! Smile
