I dunno what relevance the seller has to the provenance of the car, but whilst it's a nice car with low mileage and appears to be keenly priced, it's spoilt by the fog light and side repeaters looking like they've been located/fitted by Stevie Wonder and the stick-on front number plate looking carp, as well as being illegal (MOT failure?)

And, despite what is implied in the advert, being an import, he also knows that the Sat Nav won't work either (or the radio).

I think Adrian Reynard manufactures race cars .....('Formula' single-seaters?). Presumably this makes him more interesting than us regular folks.........

Re: Interesting C7 Seller (Adrian Reynard)

Well, if it's the same Adrian Reynard he's a significant name motor sport.

Car looks good and the lamps are easily tidied. Conversion of Satnav etc c.£1,000 and a bit of fiddling about.

Main thing to note is the car's in base North American specification as opposed to the "Z51" of all official Euro cars. [Wet sump, smaller rear spoiler, no HUD, no magnetic ride suspension, different brakes. Also worth checking which interior trim package is fitted - it's likely to have less leather. A 2015 auto should be the 8-speed.]

I imagine a carefully positioned offer could bag someone a decent car.

I'll say it again, whilst the Adrian Reynard may have an interesting history in motor sport, I can't see what relevance that has to a used Corvette.

The previous owner of my car was Chris Graham, ace mechanic, brother of racing driver Stuart Graham and son of Les Graham - ex Lancaster Bomber pilot and former motorcycle racer. Does that make my car any more desirable? Of course not! It just someone flogging a car...

Guy, that makes your car a little more interesting to me Smile I remember watching Stuart Graham racing the Brut Camaro back in the 70s! Fab! Used to wear checked shirts I seem to remember! And of course he now is a regular at Goodwood. Also a mean bike racer, but that was before my time! I assume that Chris is "Chris Graham American Cars"?

That C7 is a nice colour......

Correct! Chris is/was also Stuart's tuner/mechanic for the Camaro. He's a lovely guy, can build a Small Block with his eyes closed and has some great life stories about his days when they were racing the car

Guy, Well, I never! I hadn't realised or even thought to make the connection. Those were the days! I still have a sticker for the SCA Freight Camaro on my toolbox!

Don't tell him, but when I look at Stuart Graham I wonder how he had the strength to muscle that Camaro around. let alone a bike! Very Happy
