So itís fixed now. They had a problem with the software not communicating, but update from GM sorted it.
I think they spent a lot of time sorting this one out so fair play they didnít charge me any more than quoted.
Also while itís in they are putting a new roof on as itís a recall from GM. Mad

Re: Zo6 lost all power

Can you believe itís gone again!!!
Got in it today and started first time, no problem.
Let it warm up because I wanted to check oil.
Shut it off after about 10 mins or so.

Shut the door, got some paper towel.
Came back and the door wouldnít open.
Went in via the boot latch.
No start! Banghead
Same - profanity removed -clicking scramble noise as before the computer was replaced.

What the hell is going on?
Surely it canít be another computer thatís fried?

Re: Zo6 lost all power

Turns out it was the hud fault. When unplugged itís no problem car has power. But when plugged in will not start.
Problem is where itís located to replace, all the dash has to come out, which is a pig.
Might see if I can tackle that one myself.
I took the dash apart on my old c5 which wasnít too bad for me, non mechanic. (But I can do a bit)

Thank god, at least you have found it, go on YouTube Iím sure there will be a video on there how to remove dash, in fact when I was looking for one to repair a C5 hud there was a C6 on there.
Great news Thumbs up
