AACI Open Nationals

Calendar Event: 20 Apr - 22 Apr

American Auto Club International will be holding the first of their big shows on Fri/Sat/Sun 20/21/22 April at Billing Aquadrome, Northampton, NN3 9DA

Their temporary move to Kelmarsh in 2017 obviously didn't go down too well, so it's back to Billing for 2018.

Unfortunately at the minute there's nothing usefully I can find to link more info., so anyone interested will have to do a bit of googling and associated research for themselves

Having a lot of bhp is all very well, but on these forums it's torque that counts

That's because Billing pleaded for all of the car shows to go back after they realised they made a mistake by stopping all car shows in lew of filling the estate with static caravans. when they realised how much money they had turned away they asked all of the car shows to come back, NSRA refused tho.

I usually attend these events and liaise with the AACI guys over a dedicated area for Corvettes, who in turn have been kind enough to accommodate the request. Although the event is not strictly in my region, I also take the Club Flags Etc

But, after a really bad experience at the April event at Billing a couple of years ago, when the weather was appalling and I had to get my car towed off the camp site, I vowed not to go again as IMHO it's too early in the year and the weather is too volatile

So this time, as I have no interest, I've no idea who else is going or if there is anything being arranged with AACI
