Auto gearbox

Hi
I need a bit of advice on my 1976 c3
The auto box has been fine up to now until yesterday afternoon , took it out of the garage in the morning it was fine and did a bit of cleaning then went to take it for a run then as I set off it started to slip in forward gears but it is absolutely fine in reverse then as I was putting it away it got worse and would hardly move .
The only thing I did prior to this was top auto fluid when hot up to the level .
The auto box is a TH 350

Re: Auto gearbox

Did you check the level with the engine running, having put the car into each gear first?

I checked it with engine running when hot and just added to it gradually but never put in each gear first ?
