Hi Ken" hope things are good.. hope you can help me! Can i buy a warrenty from gm for my 2017 import corvette.

Can't imagine that GM Europe would even dream of issuing a warranty on a privately imported Vette - having said that the car would have a US warranty - quite how you would get that honoured here is another story. I'm sure it would still be applicable for worldwide warranty cover on official GM recalls. However GM themselves will have great difficulty contacting owners of privately imported vehicles here unless they are on the UK or European database - (I'm guessing) Scratchchin

There are tales that one or two individuals have managed to obtain GM assistance with conversion and/or warranty of US imports although it is far from clear to me how and why this was achieved.

The basic position is that with an import you're on your own - except that GM will carry out any safety-related recall programs without charge. Have a chat with Ian Allan about this.

Taken in the round, these cars are so reliable that warranty shouldn't be an issue.
