All home safe and sound, sat in loads of traffic on the M25 (about2 hours worth) and she didnt miss a beat, the only issue I can see is a bit of tyre balancing (the yanks did not do properly when tyres were fitted) and a set of shocks, apart from that she a goodie!

Steady cruise home, even the cruise control works, amazing!

Suggesting that I would even consider collecting and driving the Vette illegally I consider insulting and inflammatory. I politely request that you do not respond or make comments on any posts or threads that I am involved with as I feel you are trying to discredit me on a public forum.

It was actually a poor attempt at humor to try to lighten the situation between us .....

Never meant anything malicious just thought It would appeal to your kind of tongue in cheek humor ....

but without appearing childish you actually did start the defamatory remarks about me as a dealer...and not to buy from dealers generally...

so lets consider this matter closed.

So today was quite productive, fuel gauge was stuck on full so changed the sender unit, quite easy, done it all through the fuel flap hole.
It came with new rubber gasket and new bolts from Corvette Central.

Think I liked it more when it was broken at least I thought I had a full tank!

After that I jacked the front up and removed the power steering control valve and steering damper to do the somewhat excessive oil leak.
