New owner

Hi all, bagged this beauty over the weekend, cant wait to pick her up. Sheís a 2006 with a mere 23K miles, a very clean example and over the moon getting the deal done. Moving over from a 6.2 HSV E3 GTS, but always had a soft spot for Corvettes, and after attending Speedfest and seeing your display, re lit the fire. Will be finding my feet over the next few weeks with regards to navigating the forum. Will no doubt be taping your wealth of knowledge and hope to get along to a few meets and sat hello.

She looks very nice indeed, well done.

Now you need to join the Club and get yourself up to the CCCUK Nationals held at the end of the month in Bedford - A brill bash with loads of Vettes, camaraderie and a bucket load of knowledge.

Enjoy your Z06

Well done! Thumbs up Yes, Saw that beauty over in the Ian Alan showroom a few weeks back, when I needed new batteries in my C6 key fobs, and thought that car looks "mint."

New guy in the Parts Department asked me what does the C6 look like? Like the red one in the showroom says me. Smile

Re: New owner

Hi all, thanks for comments. I have indeed already joined the club, first thing I done Saturday after coming back from the showroom Laughing wont be getting the car this week, currently waiting for a new V5 form for my HSV to arrive as I have taken my private plate off as itís going on the Vette. Once that has arrived, a dealer friend I originally got my car from wants it back for himself. Fingers crossed I can go pick it up the week after next week sometime, probably weekend after next. Dealer was happy to look after it for a few weeks.

Wonít be able to make the Nationals this year due to prior commitments which is a shame as I would of loved to have gone.

Thanks for the warm welcome tho, much appreciated Thumbs up

Re: New owner

Hi All, apologies I didnít make last night, had to be somewhere else so couldnít make it.

However, picking my new car up Monday and have got a ticket for the Nationals next weekend and will be joining the Essex boys and girls for the drive there on Sunday morning.

Looking forward to meeting a few of you on Sunday and having a chat. First MOD is that the car needs a new exhaust, one of the tips has been slightly damaged which i knew when I went to look at the car, but knowing the exhaust would be going, wasnít a problem. Hopefully some examples of choices to listen to, but I think Iím set on a Borla Atak axle back.

Thanks Ian
