Re: New owner

Bet you are looking forward to Monday? Amongst all the paperwork, manuals and keys you will be getting from IA, presumably they will give you the printout from the GM database showing what recall work/jobs have been done (if required). e.g. 1) Roof delamination on earlier C6 Z06s 2) Headlight/fusebox recall about 2 years ago.

Car may or may not have the CoC document. Per Mitch Millet on Pistonheads a few years ago, Stratstone only gave the new car customer a CoC if they asked for one.

Hi there, yes, very much looking forward to Monday, will be good to get her home and see what the wife thinks !! She has only seen photos but imo, photos donít do the car a justice, itís miles better looking in the flesh.

They did mention doing me the print when I went to view the car but will remind them again when Iím there. Not sure on the CoC doc, will have another good nose through paper work, see if itís there.

Re: New owner

Yes, that car really did look mint when I had a quick look at it. Was wondering where they got it from (P/X on a C7)? And yes, they look better in the flesh than in photos. Had my C6 5 years, and still get as big a buzz from it as when I got it.

You don't "need" the CoC, but quite a few UK C6s have gone to mainland Europe, and having the CoC was handy no doubt for that. Mitch at Bauer Millett used to be able to get them from GM Europe.

I have two printouts from IA from 2012, when I got my car, from the GM Global Connect (Warranty Management) system:

1) Vehicle Summary - Shows warranty work/jobs on the car. No recall jobs recorded at that time.

2) Vehicle Build - Shows Build Date/Option codes/Delivery Info (to Kroymans Belgium, then the European Importer).

Enjoy! Rofl
