Love the colour Thumbs up

Not trying to hi-jack thread (I'll place in Vette News and a fresh thread when ready) but will have some news re. an event later in the year only for 1968 owners.

Re: Black '68

it's the correct paint code for the car - 986 - Silverstone Silver - which in my opinion suits it nicely.

Now that it's just about roadworthy - I'll have to renew my membership! (I felt a bit of a fraud being a member without a car - just a pile of bits in my garage)

A '68 event would be appropriate... 50th birthday year and all.... the question being - Are there enough '68s floating around?!?

There are 8 or so registered within the club - (potentially more if individual members haven't declared model year on personal details)

Another 1968 owner here, but it is only a baby one with the absolute base 327/300 engine in it. A 1968 owners event sounds interesting though..... as long as it isn't a drag race with all you big block owners Laughing Rofl

Re: Black '68

It's an original silver car, thanks for the offer though..

Now 8 weeks to the day since I first posted v55c to the DVLA.. just maybe, I'll get a v5 next week.. or, I quote 'they will need to launch an investigation as they will have lost my latest submission'

With luck, afternoon wash won't be wasted!
