Iíve seen 2 on Pistonheads that I saw elsewhere and which are with dealers. Black and Blue so not the red one from the nationals. Iíll keep hunting 😎

Re: Buying a C6 Convertable

I'd "bide my time" until the right car comes along, preferably from a club member, at a price that is advantageous to both of you? But, as you know, there are not many convertibles about. Personally, I prefer the Coupe. Looks just as good, more space in the back, no potential hood problems.

The black one on Pistonheads is a 2005 model year car, so grossly overpriced IMHO. The blue one at American Dreams, is the former car of a Surrey member, now running a "triple black" C7 convertible he bought new in the States.

Having spent a few days away on holiday last week I had time to think and have now decided on a targa rather than a convertible model. More practical for trips that we want to take...... Anyone know of any targa top C6's post 2008?

If itís the one in Swansea Iím getting conflicting reports about its history. Itís a US car not Euro model in any case

Re: Buying a C6 Convertible.... Or more likely a Targa Top

Yes, US spec 2009 model year car, so would need to CARFAX it if registered/ used in the US before coming to Germany. Don't know if those are aftermarket headlight washers or parking sensors on the front. Has the "Gumby" style wheels.

Don't know what spec it is (1LT/2LT/3LT?) but the brake discs don't look "drilled," so doesn't have the Z51 suspension?
