Euro to US tail lights help


Hi guys just wondering if anyone can help please.
My car currently has the euro tail lights but I would like to go the other way and fit some US spec led lights. Iím not too bothered about the amber indicators as I will sort that after.
Does anyone know if I can simply contact the indicator wire to the stop/tail wire and it will flash red when I indicate, or is it going to be overloaded.
Iíd also like to have the tail/stop light active on all 4 lights not 2 as it currently is, would this just be looping the wire from one light to another?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You post is not easy to follow and you haven't said what Vette you're referring to.

Leaving everything else aside, the fundamental problem you will have seems to be,

* When a US car has the brakes applied and an indicator is switched on, the relevant 21w brake lamp lamp flashes on and off and the brake light the other side shows solid red.

* Even if your proposal works at all, your car will show NO rear indicator if the brakes are applied. All the brake lamps will be illuminated solid red and nothing flashing.

Sorry the car is a 2007 c6.
How do you think i could get around one side staying solid and the other flashing when indicating?
Would it be a case of changing the bcm to us mode.

I'm afraid I can't help with that as the last Vette I messed about with lights for was my C5. So far as I'm aware C6 is completely different, perhaps using digital control (which reduces the weight of the wiring loom).

Thanks, Iím not sure if itís a case of using a us harness or not.
Some say use the us harness and change the country setting on the bcm to us also.
Others say itís just a case of running some wires and no need to change the bcm setting.
Iím wondering if I went with my initial thought of connecting indicator to brake/tail light, will the indicator function work over the brake or other way as you mention

I donít suppose anyone has the tail light wiring diagram for the euro setup?
I canít find one anywhere but plenty of the us wiring

Thanks, Iíll be honest and it really confused me. The wiring diagram is also very confusing to me.
I wondering if the c5 wiring will be the same as c6?

Just had mine converted from US to EU easy way is to have the BCM
reprogrammed. If you need any help get in touch 07793972997.
