Original 2009 C6 tyres

Soon taking delivery of my first C6, I know it needs new tyres, what were the original ones fitted and what are everyone’s experiences of replacing these when they wore out? I am keen to know what I should replace the existing ones with. Bigear

Re: Original 2009 C6 tyres

I had OEM Goodyear run flats on my '10 GS, couldn't wait to get rid of them, just about shot at 12,000 miles, noisy, hard, rough riding. Ditched them and replaced with a set of Nitto Invo's non-run flats, what a difference, smooth, quiet, handling was great.

I believe the Goodyears were the standard factory tires for the C6's.

Michelin just will not come out with all season non-run flats for the sizes I need for my '16 Z06, so I picked up a set of Pirelli's, they're not all season, but are non-run flats. What a smooth quiet ride.

Hi Norm, thanks for the info. Got my C6 at the weekend and know it will need a set of boots soon, but still a few miles left in them...... So doing my homework before making a decision.
