Nice one! (Now I'm even more tempted to fit the remaining example I have "in stock", sans adjustments! Very Happy

Car looks good in the photo by the way. Thumbs up

Best place for getting spare keys cut?

These are the three keys I got with my car, so with only one of each, would be keen to get spares cut. Any recommendations appreciated, as I was going to initially try local locksmiths/key cutters etc. The only marking/numbers on each, are as per the photo, so not sure if that's enough info for getting someone online to do same?
Cheers for any advice etc.

Jim

I haven't needed to get a key cut, but I suspect that an ordinary high-street cutter may not have the right blanks. But I see that Corvette Kingdom keeps blanks and then a friendly cutter should be able to make a key from yours (when I was in the trade I could cut any key from the original with the right blank).
But, I don't think the Gas key is not a standard Corvette item, and that may be more tricky!

Cheers Stephen. When I initially typed keys into CK's search, it just came up with lock & key sets, but with " blank key" there are the two blank options I need for the car itself.
Yes, petrol tank cap key may be a bit more of a challenge, but maybe not, will see!
Thanks again.

If you can find some old long established place they may have a pile of old key blanks for the gas cap. We used to keep two huge wire rings of old blanks "under the counter" and it was surprising how many times we could match up an odd key brought in.

Jim, I only got 1 key with my '71 and I took it into Timpsons in Tesco (there are loads of them all over the place) the guy looked at it, said he would order the blank and I should return in 3 days. I went back and he cut the key, 4.95 all in, job done!
