There's a key "hidden" in your fob. Press the small button to pull it out (it can be very stubborn!) and use it in the key hole above the number plate. You can then release the doors using the tab in the boot.

Re: Z06 Battery Goes Flat

My 2007 Z06 battery used to drop below 12V after a week or two even when left in reverse gear as recommended Sad . I use an 'Optimate 4' intelligent charger hooked up all the time as I only use the car on a very limited mileage policy and also lay it up over the winter months to avoid the dreaded salt which plays havoc with the polished alloys. My nephew recommended using one of these as he is a keen biker in the summer months but stores his bikes through the winter. The Optimate will recover a flat battery at a variable charge rate of 0.2 - 0.8 A which is lower than a regular charger but better for the battery. I paid £45 for it. Smile
Hope this helps anyone else with the same problem.

Former owner of a silver '68 427 split roof coupe 'vette way back in 1975/76 when I was a lot younger. Bought it from Steven Ouvaroff's American Car Centre, Kingston on Thames and sold it to a guy from Bangor, N.Wales.
Now own a silver '07 Z06 bought new from Stratstone Leeds (sadly now gone!) sold to me by David Slocombe who is now with Bauer Millett in Manchester. The most professional, knowledgeable, genuine guy I have ever met in the motor trade.
