IF (and that's a BIG IF) tariffs are 'relaxed' can we really expect to see GM reducing prices in Europe and UK? - even if its a 10% reduction surely that will be at base import in to Europe cost (effectively 'wholesale' cost). By the time 'local' EU taxes are levied (plus our VAT on top of everything else) will it be any more of a potential reduction than about 5K or 6K at best - presuming of course that that isn't absorbed by GM?

They have done it before. UK list prices for all C6 models were reduced by over 11% in September 2008 (e.g. Base car reduced from 46k to 40k, Z06 reduced from 62k to 55k).

That's about the time Stratstone were pulling out as the UK dealer. Having difficulty selling them (and the Caddies?) I think the story goes?
