Re: Nationals organisers - thank you!

Just got back to Cornwall and would like to add my thanks to all involved and all that turned up despite the weather.

Had a great time and was good to put some faces to the forum names. Clap

Wev, Enjoyed our little mini cruise to the motorway....I thought you were being a little conservative with your speed, wasnt until half way home I decided to use a GPS speedo only to find mine reads under! Bugger to all of the average speed traps!

Had a great time as well. Joined up with the Essex convoy at Harlow for the final leg, very imposing on the roads all that muscle!

Wish I had met more folks from the forum, but not knowing faces I bet I've walked past a lot of people and not known it. Sorry if I ignored you Smile

Those I did see again, it was very nice to catch up and hear that everyone was well and enjoying their cars. (Except Craigyboy, who must own the Corvette version of Christine)

Must add that the lady country singer was really very good!!!

Well done to the organisers and the teams of helpers

Re: Nationals organisers - thank you!

Yes - it was a great event this year
Yes - it was credit to Fran, Kevv and their band of helpers
Yes - our sponsors help us considerably when to comes to putting on the show

All the above deserve our thanks, but the people who should really take the credit are those of you that supported us by simply turning up. Without the attendance of you guys (Member or not) there would be no point in putting on a show.

So thank you to you all. I managed to say "hi" to a lot of people this year and as usual came away thinking what a truly great club this is with such great members.

I'd like to add my own thanks too. It was my first Nationals for 3 years and I loved the new venue and the singer was great too. There were so many great cars to look at and so many people to talk to, I didn't even get a chance to look at the animals. Nice touch giving that award to Don who's been doing the gate for years. Thumbs up Well done Kevv and Fran and to everyone else who helped.
