Have to say, I really liked the venue. It's pretty much perfect. Good access too.

I'd like to add my thanks to all concerned; it was looking a bit grim after Saturday's washout and a wet start to Sunday, but it turned out well and I hope the club benefited suitably.

The Nationals has always been a cost to the club, which is perfectly acceptable and expected as it is primarily an event for the members.

However, due to the efforts of all concerned, early indications are that we are much closer to breaking even for this year. Now that is a real result and will hopefully enable us to do more with next years event.

Yes, well done to all who gave their time and effort into organising the event. I know how much work it is from the days when Neil Luck was doing it (and it's much more than you would think)

Also, special congratulations to Chairman Rich for not punching anyone!

Cheers Genghis, we've got several thank you's to give out as well, we'll be doing that shortly.

In the meantime, thank you to you and your wife, particularly for the experienced vote counting you both provided!
