Just watched this earlier!

In 5 years those Z06s are going to be an amazing value buy. I hope they populate the UK with them...

We have (I believe) a newly joined (or re-joined) member staying over at Bowling Green right now waiting to collect his new Z06. Hopefully he will be sending us some images and details about his trip to watch it being 'born' for the forum and magazine!

I love Carlos’ analogy “I’m kinda hungry, so I’ll buy a fast food chain….” ! Cool video.

Here’s the Performance Data Recorder video of Andy Pilgrim at Road Atlanta, during the same test session I’m guessing…

(Sorry, my skills aren't up to getting the video in the post!)

I have one on order (well it isn't actually on order yet as they wont accept orders for autos until next month). Paid the deposit and the order will be going through as soon as GM open the order book for autos.

To wet your whistle so to speak.....I urge you to watch the video of Andy Pilgrim lapping Road Atlanta he did it in 1.29:88 which is deeply impressive when you consider the C7R qualified on slicks set a 1.18.98.....and the Z/28 Camaro that set the pole time for the supporting Continental tires race qualified on pole with a time of 1:31.6!

I just think its brilliant we are still getting cars like this. Truly this humbles my c6z (though I am an NA fan), I'll look out for one in a few years after someone else takes the hit!

This months Car and Driver tested a ZO6 auto
0-60 in 3secs
0-100 in 6.8 secs
0-150 in 17.8 secs
1/4 mile in 11.1 secs at 127mph
Base price $78 995
That's someperformance for an auto

Awesome figures. Most are pretty close to the old Mclaren F1, except 0-150mph in something utterly shocking like 12.8 for the Macca. Actually surprised the new Z06 doesn't get a bit closer on that one.
