Central South Meeting @ National Motorcycle Museum, Bickenhill

Calendar Event: 15 Mar 2015 10:00 am

Following the inaugural CCCUK Central South Meeting at Frankie & Bennys in February, I'm organising another event at the National Motorcycle Museum on 15th March (B92 0EJ)

I will be there from 10:00am (ish) until) 12:30ish. Join me for Coffee/Brekkie/Chat/tyre kick.

This is a casual event only, so there's no need to tell me your coming (but it helps!).

If anyone would like to know more about this event. Please mail me on centralsoutthregion (at) corvetteclub.org.uk

Thanks

Guy Waltham

It's been politely pointed out, that this event is on Mothering Sunday

Oops!

Never mind, just bring your Mum!

Re: Central South Meeting @ National Motorcycle Museum, Bickenhill

After talking to a few people today, I have decided to move this event away from Frankie & Benny's on Mothering Sunday

Instead, we will now meet at the National Motor Cycle Museum at Bickenhill, for the same casual gathering.

The Motorcycle Museum has great parking and a cafeteria that can be accessed with the need to pay/enter the Museum itself. IOt is a gret venue for ouyr meeting. Obviously, if anyone wants to use this as an opportunity to take a trip around the Museum, its a perfect excuse

The Museum is situated on the roundabout at the junction between the M42 (Juncn 6) and the A45. Postcode ref is B92 0EJ

Apologies, but unfortunately I won't be able to make this one. It's been a while since I've taken my Mum out on Mothering Sunday.

Motorcycle museum is a great idea. I went there recently when I dropped my brother to the airport and was staggered by the amount of bikes they have.

How about Coventry Air Museum for the next one? There's a half decent pub nearby in Baginton.

Re: Central South Meeting @ National Motorcycle Museum, Bickenhill

Thank you for everyone that came today

For the record, we had 22 people there and 12 Vettes in the car park. No out of regions guests this time, so it looks like we have a healthy core of Members who want to participate in these meetings.

I also want to especially thank those 3 or 4 new Members who hadn't met us all before for coming today and also the few that travelled some distance to be there

If you couldn't make it this time around, please keep an eye open for future events (currently under consideration). These regional events are made all the better by people turning out, so please try to come if you can

Yes, a good morning that Marti and I thoroughly enjoyed (she learns a little more about cars and Vettes every time)

Nice to see old and new faces - thank you to all who came and to Guy for setting it up

I thought the MC Museum a good venue for a Morning meet.

Enjoyed the morning, was in two minds whether to go due to a not very good weather forecast but it turned out OK although mighty cold. Its a great venue, pity there was a watch and clock fair on which made it very busy. Thanks Guy for setting it up, its good to keep the wheels rolling through the winter. Anybody got any photo's?

It was nice to meet some new and familiar faces at the Nat Motorcycle Museum on Sunday. A good excuse to give the Corvette and the wife a bit of exercise.
Nice job Guy in sorting the arrangements. Thumbs up
Phil
