I've received this link about the stand of Chevrolet Corvette at the Geneva Motor Show.

That looks good also but based on the Euro price (100k odd) which would turn into at least 200k here with taxes I think I will be waiting a long time. Sad Sad

Re: Geneva Motor Show

It's true Simon, for us it would be around 140.000 Euros buying price, 10.000 Euros first registration tax and about 3.300 euros annual road tax. Much to expensive for me.

The stupid thing is that GM Europe won't deliver the C7 Z06 Z07 convertible to Europe. They can't get the spoilers into the car for transport, like in the coupes.

Love that colour above too! (Daytona Sunrise Orange?) Thumbs up Love the shark gray too, and those new 2015 wheels.

Jonny, is the only difference between a UK spec car (as sold previously by Bauer Millett) and a Euro mainland car, the headlights? Obviously the manuals won't be in English? Is the instrumenation the same? i.e. if you bought a car in Europe for use in the UK, you just switch them to mph? Cheers - Peter.

It's called Daytona Sunrise Orange Metallic.

The U.K. spec car it not that different from the mainland car. There must be a difference in the headlight. We're still looking into it. I've heard that the grey import C7's in the U.K. don't have to change the headlights, just a change of re-alignment for RHD traffic.

Instrumentation stays the same for every Corvette, just the setting to mph and it's done. In every Corvette that I drove to the U.K. was just clicking on the switch between mph and kph. Just for the previous model like the C5 and C6 had different instrumentation.

As for the manual, they can be asked in different languages like English, Dutch, German, French, etc.

Pick of the bunch for me would be the regular Stingray Z51 with 8 speed automatic. Chevrolet say that this will be available in Europe towards the end of 2015. Hopefully, by then, GM will have sorted out their official dealer by then.
