C6 Steering

Hi Guys,
Ever since I've had my C6 it has had a tendency to want to steer slightly to the left. (and it isn't just the road camber). Nothing serious, but annoying. I've had the front and back tracking set, with me watching the whole time to make sure they met the spec, and that didn't cure it. The tyres are all fairly new and the pressures are set correctly. If a disc was dragging it would get pretty damn hot and I haven't noticed this.
Anyone had anything like this or got any suggestions?
Graham

Not sure but because its a left hand drive car wonder if when its driven on the other side of the road it may pull very slightly. I have noticed when driving over in France its slightly different just a thought someone out there must know !!!Mick

Re: C6 Steering

Assuming it's pulling to the left when in a level surface then check castor and camber if you haven't already done so. Another one that if different could leave you with sleepless nights is get your 5 metre tape measure and measure wheelbase on right then on left (centre cap to centre cap) If different and steering is straight then you have the famous line from Apollo 13.

Well, I've measured front wheel to back wheel on each side and there's no difference. Also I had the tracking and camber checked a while back using a 'hunter' system. Although it was done by quickfit I was with them the whole time and I was convinced it was in spec when I left there.
Could it be an imbalance in the power steering maybe? Anyone go any other ideas?

What tyres, I've got Pirelli and they pull all over the place, my mate had the same issues with his C6 Z06, he changed to pilot sports and totally changed the cars handling characteristics.

Tyres are Goodyear Eagle F1.
