Insurance recommenations

This year with the insurance for my '68 due at the end of the month I decided to 'call time' on my current insurer who has just hiked my insurance up £397 to £451 per annum. This is the usual classic car policy with the 'Cinderella' garage cover etc, £28K agree value and (unusually) unlimited mileage. I've lived with the 'elevated' premium for a few years for several reasons. I have had a couple of prangs (over 5 years ago now) in company cars, only one was my fault, I declared these and that the car was modified with big engine, wheels etc etc so understandably expected an increase - but no longer. I have had one quote for £225 with 1500 miles (that OK for me) not 100% sure until I check it includes agreed value.
Has anyone here got some recommendations for me please............... Yes

I sed to use Hagerty but they jumped up, went with Classicline as they were much cheaper, got the 75 & 66 on one policy with agreed values of £85k @ £15k and I think it was circa £300 for them both (75 off road cover)

I recently renewed my 1968 C3's cover. Went with Lancaster Insurance after shopping around as my current insurer had pumped mine up a lot from last year. Allegedly it was only really low last year due to an error they made, and thus this year's policy was well over £100 more. I call BS on that personally, but they wouldn't budge. So I got my insurance much cheaper elsewhere.

I've used Peter S Taylor in Hove for the last few years. They have a special policy tailored for older Corvettes (see the ad on p5 of the recent CCCUK mag).
My renewal was under £130 Inc tax for agreed value, garage overnight and 3000 miles
