iva test


hi friends" im getting a c7 imported from the usa. can anyone tell me wot i need to do to the corvette to pass the test. CHEERS.

If you've bought a C7 without investigating the IVA first, I think that you are probably in for an interesting and expensive experience.... Best of luck.

Very simple on C7 Stingray. All you need are,
* Side indicator repeaters, and
* Rear fog lamp (with switch and tell-tale lamp on dash)

I'm showing my ignorance on the subject here, but does the domestic US market C7 come with amber rear indicator lamps, and not the usual red?

Your profile says you're in Scotland - so the answer to that question is likely to depend upon the location of the car and how much you want to spend getting it transported around the country.

I imported my C7. The iva mods are straight forward. Tail lights already have amber indicators. My side repeaters were added into the reflective strips on front negating need to drill and add side indicators. The fear fog light was added into tail lights so my car has no outward appearance changes. Navigation still not working but Corvette reseller in Gloucester has a guy who can reprogram... not cheap though.

I used Sigma Automotive Ltd in Norfolk who had previous C7 experience. Total cost was just under 2K which included car collection from Southampton and all necessary IVA test fees and road fund tax and subsequent vehicle delivery.
