I'm not from the area - coming from the South West, so any advice on where to drive to and so forth would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Smile

You will receive an e-mail in the next 24 hours, providing all of the details

I have received the email - many thanks Very Happy

Somewhat inevitably, with the event being in just a few days time the headcount of attendees is becoming a little fluid. This means that I currently have two spaces available (out of the maximum of 24)

So, if you aren't going to have all your money vaccumed out of your pockets at the disused airfield (Silverstone) and have nothing better to do, you are welcome to join this tour. PM me if interested. First come, first served!

Cost is £25 per person, which includes a free buffet after the tour. Smile

The weather forecast is OK, so what have you got to lose?

Great event Guy!!!! It was really enjoyable. Easy parking at the flying school. A FANTASTIC tour of the Vulcan with superb commentary and hosting from the volunteers. Sitting in the cockpit for 15 minutes while an ex pilot talks about what everything does and about his own flying experience, is something very special.

The lunch venue was also excellent. Plenty of easy parking and a private area with lovely buffet food.

So big thanks Guy and a special thanks as well to the club for subsidising that buffet event.

Much appreciated,

Paul and Jan.

Re: Vulcan Tour 2018

Here, here, a great event.
Now we know for sure that Jackie doesn't have RAF standard size undercarriage Laughing
..... and gave the pilot a laugh by almost getting stuck in the co-pilots seat
Awesome visit, thanks again to Guy for setting it up

^^ this sums it up exactly for me too. Absolutely fascinating listening to all their stories, the facts and so forth. Loved being inside the plane and seeing it all.

Thanks again Guy for a great day out...... even though I didn't bring a Corvette to the party.
