Shelsley Walsh Hill Climb - 113th year anniversary

Calendar Event: 11 Aug - 12 Aug

Shelsley Walsh lays claim to be the oldest venue for motor racing in England.

Extraordinary to think that it all began in 1905, and even today cars race up the same hill - just a bit quicker these days - 140mph at the quickest Nutty

We have been invited to have a Club area, but to make it worthwhile it would require 4 or 5 Members to turn up.

It's too late to get this in the June mag. - does anyone on here fancy a day out either Saturday or the Sunday 11th or 12th August?

Post below or send me an email and we'll see where we go.

Details: https://www.shelsleywalsh.com/single-post/2018/05/15/JAGUAR-...

Bill, would the club area be on grass or hard standing?

Cheers.

I would have to enquire on that Barry.

Is it a deal breaker for you?

If 3 or 4 want to go I'll arrange a stand.

Sounds a really interesting day out TBH Thumbs up

I have not been to Shelsley, always wanted to go, but I did do Prescott last time, decided not to take the Vette, I took a 4 x 4 and lost traction on the mud.

I will scope it out and see the interest on here.

Cheers
