What a great day. Met some awesome people some of them old friends and some new ones to.

Had a lovely Sunday roast in the hotel restaurant. Nice food and excellent service from the waitresses.

Met a police sergeant with exactly the same name as me. My wife spotted his badge as he walked by. What a pleasant chap he was!!

To top it all Iíve won best modified C5. Itís amazing and inspires me to keep on top of the meticulous cleaning and care thatís required to keep that paint looking good. Iím also amazed because to be fair there were some absolutely cracking C5ís there.

Thanks to all of the committee and volunteers for putting on a great event!!

Paul and Jan.

Couldnít stay for much of Sunday but the food, booze and company was good on Saturday.

Once again shows the benefit of holding the AGM with the Nationals. 70 + present compared to less than 20 in 2016.

Great day Ross and all involved , found the shade, just welcoming selling. Best bit for me was the Vertex deal from Tony and the BBC McLaren/Chevrolet valve covers. All in the CanAm collection. Thumbs up

Re: Corvette Nationals 2018!

We had a brilliant day lots of lovely Vettes and lovely Friends

Yes thank you and well done Ross on all fronts and thank you to Mike for finding the venue and organising the day, thanks to all involved in making it a great day and not forgetting Jonny who had the enjoyable task of capturing all those Vettes on camera, whilst under the continued heat of the sun - what a great contribution he makes to add to our enjoyment later.

Thank you also to Ciro and all his staff at the Sharnbrook for providing an excellent venue, accommodation, food, drinks and service.

Ciro I was a little miffed when over the tannoy you advised us all that a dear lady in the Village of Sharnbrook had complained that she could hear you on the tannoy - you promised her a free Burger - We could all hear you, and we did not get an offer of a free Burger. Laughing

Keep it up all round. Thumbs up

I had a chat with him as well, and afterwards thought "why was Firepit dressed as a policeman?" Laughing

Having a lot of bhp is all very well, but on these forums it's torque that counts
