That's more like it Thumbs up

So who's got a C1 and a C3?

I wish I could offer my C3, which is currently sitting not far away from venue in Wolverhampton, but still not UK registered, but hopefully in next few weeks and I think as she has already overstayed her welcome at that garage (been there since April) can't really see me getting away with her staying there another 2 months. But it would save me time & fuel by not having to drive her up to Aberdeen and then back down again in November ! She is an ex-Florida state 1972 red 350 auto, with black leather interior. I could see what garage would say to storing it (as they basically have been doing that for last 3 months, due to a supplier's issue!) or if there was anyone nearby to venue on here that could assist me, happy to pay for secure and suitable storage. I would also consider coming down from Aberdeen, as I've bought her to drive and am desperate to do just that! So offer is there.
Thanks,
James Gill

That's a frustrating situation you find yourself in Jimbo. Hopefully soon to be resolved.

Thanks for the offer to put it on the stand but I was contacted last night and the C3 space is now filled.

That said there should be a classic car show in Glasgow next year (it got cancelled for 2018) - the Ignition Festival of Motoring - and when that happens you will be very welcome to get involved there Thumbs up

In the meantime make sure the Scottish Rep. has you on his list.

So we just need a C1 now - anyone got one or know of one that can be available?

Not a problem, glad space been filled.
Yes, Robert has my details and looking forward to getting involved wherever, next year.

Nice one. I was just reading through this thread and was thinking "Owwww... I wonder if I should offer my 68 C3 if no-one else has offered one?".
Now I don't need to make a decision Smile

You almost sound relieved Captain - shame because it's a good weekend.

If you fancy it for next year get your name down with our new Events Co-ordinator Thumbs up

Everyone should do a show at least once

I've been to the NEC car shows in the past, and yes they are great fun. My concern this year is purely down to my C3 been in the garage most of this year slowly having lots of work done to it. I've missed a lot of shows thus, and wouldn't want to deny our stand a C3 if mine wasn't available. It should be, but its dragging on a bit now due to unfortunate circumstances.

A reminder to all of you on here that we are just two weeks away from the Club's biggest indoor show of the year.

Everything is set for another great show which on the Club stand will be celebrating the 65th year of Corvette production.

Look forward to seeing as many of you there as possible.
