Heads/cam

Looking to get new heads/cam installed.
Any recommendations on kit?
And any recommendations who can do a good job, not to pricy... in the Surrey area.
Thanks in advance.

The acknowledged experts on the LS engine in the UK, are Top Cats Racing in the Aylesbury area. They will even let you select and source the parts you want to use for the upgrade

I agree with my learned friend. Top Cats know all about LS engines.

Re: Heads/cam

Had my heads and cam changed by a company up here near Newcastle.
I would second Topcats, they know LS engines inside out.
I got my new heads and a cam kit from American Heritage Performance in California.
They can do as much or as little as you want to the heads and supply all the parts.
I had my heads built with their harder powdered metal guides new hollow exhaust
valves and polished OEM intakes, also had them milled 0.030 and street ported.
The cam is their 116 California smog cam, came with all the bits for install inc.
new lifters, gaskets etc.
I had an email tune sent as well, but Topcats would probably do that onsite.
Give the owner a call or email, his name is Kohle.
You don't say what engine you have.

By the way, my car is a f##@ing monster now.

Dave.

Re: Heads/cam

Don't forget you need to factor in a tune and a new stall converter into the price

For the best choice of cams I would post on the American Corvette forum
