C3 wheel trims for sale

Hi,

I'd completely forgotten I still had these, I bought them for my c3 but in the end kept the standard rims on instead so they're just taking up room now unfortunately.

If they're any use to somebody please let me know, I'm obviously not looking for a massive amount for them as I'd rather they go to somebody on here than end up on ebaying.

They're generally in pretty good condition for the age but there are some marks round the edges as you can see in the picture.
(not quite sure why the vacuum is in there sorry but you get the idea, haha)

Thanks

Nick

Are they genuine 'PO2's or after-market replicas?

Re: C3 wheel trims for sale

Hi Jack,

To the best of my knowledge they are original ones, I'm not sure if there is a way to check but when I bought them a few years back they were sold to me as originals and came with the appropriate amount of dust on them haha

If there's a way to check for sure I'll certainly have a look? I've had a quick look at the back of them for if there are any date marks but I can't see anything.

Hope that helps!

Nick

Hi Nick - I'm not interested in the wheel-trims myself, but am aware that there are some C3 guys with early cars (up to '73) that may prick up their ears, esp. in the NCRS
community. Without a judging manual to hand, I can't help with any identifying features (e.g. dates, as you mention), but I gather from the 'grapevine' that these items are
sought-after, primarily for cars that were originally supplied with that RPO, which has since been lost/removed/missing for whatever reason.
I think one or two NCRS guys are active on this CCCUK forum - they may be able to add something.....

Altho' I don't use it myself, I understand e-bay is a good vehicle (pardon pun) for buying/selling stuff like this - might be worth a look to see 'what's cooking'.....

Hi Nick,

I could be interested in them for my early C3, how much do you want for them?

Regards
