Re: How to post a photo in the forums

Hi VW

I've had another go, and from my photobucket account it's even easier now I know what to do.

1. Click on photo
2. On right side of page left click IMG box
3.Right click on post, and left click paste

and here's another photo!

Having a lot of bhp is all very well, but on these forums it's torque that counts

Quick answer, you need the old embed code to work with this old website! You Tube used to hide it but now they've got rid of it so you now have to use a converter like this..

Hopefully explains itself but give it a go.. Thumbs up

What a pain! Having just spent half an hour trying to upload an avatar picture, managed to resize down to 110 x 100px, but it's still too big file size is 96kb! Can anyone tell me how to shrink the resolution of my picture and therefore the file size?

I think at the start of this thread Ben linked to a couple of online photo editors, these hopefully will allow you to select the parameters you need.

No - they all allow me to change the size of the image in pixels, but not the file size - at least not from what I can see. 5Kb is ridiculously small.
