Reversing light on 1967

The mid year corvettes saw a few exterior changes over it 5 year model run.
One that I thought was great is the central revering light in the tail panel on the 1967 model To me it looks so much better than losing one tail light each side to reversing lights.

Some of the other simple exterior changes were
1964. The most obvious was the removal of the split window, which to many people was a great improvement.
Fake hood grill inserts gone to give the hood a cleaner look.
1965. Mainly the side gills replaced the indents of the 64. The introduction of the 396ci motor required a different hood.
1966 not much from memory here.As the 1966 was meant to be the Sting Rays final year, nothing much was planned.
A badge/emblem positioned on the hood bottom left. ( drivers side)
1967 saw a few lovely changes. A newly designed hood for the 427. Beautifully designed. Side gills were smaller and more of them. Separate reversing light to center of tail panel.

Have left wheel options out. Different hub cap designs for every year as was the norm on most cars of the period.
Different seat patterns for every year, again the norm in those days.
Side exhausts from 1965
And what is widely regarded as the most beautiful corvette wheel, the 1967 bolt on with the starburst centre cap.

'67 has the C3 style handbrake which has to be better than the dash mounted pull out type in mine and your's no doubt. Bloody awful thing. Passenger grab handle omitted

Forgot all about the handbrake, yes, much better than the under dash one. Most US cars had the under dash one in the early to mid sixties until the move to the kick on pull off parking brake which I thought was brilliant.

I like the four taillights rather than the two when the cc option was ordered, so for me the centre reversing light was a great improvement.
Of course the So Cal boys with their 6 taillights could afford to loose two to reversing lights, but probably all didn’t.
Never seen a 6 taillight car with reversing lights in the flesh, but seen it in pictures.
