The October 1969 issue of Motor Trend magazine examined the proposed 454 c.i. version of the 1969 ZL1 427. By that, we're referring to Duntov's plan to offer an all-aluminium 454 big-block Corvette. As we all know, those plans were shelved, but not before they got in some track time.
