Those Tremec transmissions really are impressive - compact, light and built to handle almost any horsepower. Interesting that they run ATF rather than normal manual box oils.

Nice option if your into manual gear changes. Me, I could never get used to changing gear with my right hand. Prefer the leisure of the automatic box.
The 1977 corvette needs a T-Cut and polish, before it’s taken out on the road.

Ah Yes. But that image was most likely taken on the downward stroke of a continual reciprocal hand movement usually made when thrashing the pants off another vehicle. Sadly for us (in Steve McQueens case) the other vehicle was probably a Corvette!
