Who's Tanya ??
Tayna. Based in Wrexham and very popular with us. Usually deliver in 24 hrs. This is the one they are recommending for a '85 C4:

However, my '85 that I sold in 2018, had the original OE style "side terminal" battery. That's the two terminals at the front of the battery (not on top). Reason for that was car still had the original OE cable connectors that screwed into the those terminals. Have you still got the OE battery cable connectors on it, and front side terminal connection battery?

Just looked at their website again, It says they have supplied this one, with the OE style terminal connectors for a '85 C4. Looks like what you need/Are the terminals on the correct side for your car and CCA output correct/sufficient? Dimensions of battery OK too?

I know that many UK company names that perhaps appear to have been established many, many years in the UK are not always as they appear (Example Qualcast, MG, Volvo etc, etc) and are often far eastern/Indian companies simply licensing the brand names and looking to benefit form quality/respect that brands once originated in UK and USA. Exide's head office is based in India and manufacturing is also carried-out in Singapore and Malasia. Not in any way saying the products are inferior.
I have a Yuasa battery in my C3 (sourced from Tanya). Yuasa are a Japanese company but do actually manufacture in the UK and for many years have been the preferred supplier of batteries for the fire and intruder alarm industry.

I believe Yuasa also make Halfords own brand batteries.
