1995 C4 won't steer correctly

I've recently had a new steering rack and pinion, new tie rods and had the car laser aligned twice.... Yet to go straight my wheel is turned a bit right.... I can let go and she drives straight and true.... But hold the wheel straight and she turns left..... Any ideas where to start after the work I've already done?

I would think that now your steering has been replaced and aligned and the car now tracks straight and true , the steering wheel needs to be re aligned on the column by a spline or two to compensate . I guess that prior to the work you were steering against the cars tendency not to track straight thereby wearing the tyres unevenly .

Ah yes good idea, before the work I was fighting the car a little as it would pull left

That`s your problem then by the sounds of it . What model Corvette do yo have ? The more modern the car the more techy bits in the way to remove the wheel .

If it's not wildly out of whack, take it back to the place that did the alignment and get them to do it properly. The alignment should be done with the steering wheel locked in a neutral position (dead ahead); if they're giving it back to you and it's not correct, they're just (in my experience) being lazy or inattentive.

Happened to me a few times in recent history, annoyingly. In each case, they've done it again and, voila, sorted.

Totally agree. Repositioning the steering wheel on it's splines is one way of correcting this, but basically they've not made adjustments evenly to each front wheel so it's knocked the steering wheel out of line. In theory (this would be extreme) you could end up with "straight ahead" no longer in the centre of the steering rack resulting in more steering lock in one direction than the other!

You could swap the wheels/tires left / right and testdrive to see if a rim is tweaked or a belt in tire slipped

Or turn the front wheels dead straight and then use a string from front to rear tires and see if fronts are pointed straight
and if so then steering wheel is out of alignment

Due to age of your C4, be easy if taking steering wheel off and the airbag
Is there a coupler connecting the shaft from the steering wheel and to the rack and if so make the angle of steering wheel change there
