Hi all!

I know some of you are watching my YouTube ZR-1 resto series... What I bet you didn't know is that in the background I've been working on this little beauty. Really need to free up some cash for the ZR-1 so it's priced aggresively!

Video link here:

Note video won't be available until 7.30 pm on Friday 8th November! (Skip to the last 25 mins for a driving and walk around footage if you can’t be bothered to watch the whole thing!)

Here's my generic ad:

If you are new to Corvettes, or the C5, then this sexy black on black cabriolet would be an excellent place to start. It’s ready to go and can be instantly enjoyed without any headaches. We feel like it is also great value and a cheap way into C5 ownership. These iconic sports cars are a super investment and don’t drop in value so you get to have your fun and then your money back if you need to sell.

The C5 is cheap to own and maintain and will do (believe it or not) 35 mpg on a longer journey. The legendary LS1 engine invokes a smirk every time you hear it cold start and the fruity torque never gets boring!

To me the C5 is the pick of "retro" Corvettes - You get the superb 90s styling and fantastic pop up headlights and they are modern enough to use daily without too many compromises. I love a C4 but they are not a patch on the 5 in terms of useability and easy of ownership. LHD is a breeze, especially with the roof down where you can enjoy 100% visibility!

My car is a Japanese import/JDM model and has only just been registered - although it’s been in the UK for 12 years (!). It is clean, handsome and low mileage (73,000 miles). It is a genuine Japanese market car complete with JDM stickers, flare and a few other quirks such as no TPMS. The nice thing about the JDM cars is they are basically Euro/UK spec so you get UK headlamps, tail lamps etc.

The previous owner lost all the paperwork for registering it and I’ve been through the painstaking process with the DVLA so you don’t have to :)

I’ve also done the following work:

New oil pressure sensor
New horns
New rear view mirror
New sun visors
New gas struts for the tonneau cover
Front bumper, wheels and rear clam refinished
New number plates
Instrument cluster and hvac panel bulbs replaced
New Lloyd over mats

Plus lots more!

This is a fighting fit and well optioned Corvette with HUD, sports seats, active damping, climate control etc. Being a Japanese market car it has clearly been well looked after. It has x4 matching Dunlop Le Mans tyres which are all in superb condition with no cracking or flat spots.

It has a lovely interior with the optional sports seats. There is an aftermarket stereo fitted but it’s been installed properly so the Bose speakers integrate correctly. It would be very easy to upgrade to a Carplay headunit if you wanted to.

The hood is excellent and when driving with the roof up it feels well judged, quiet and relatively squeak free.

The car drives superbly and goes like stink if you want it to! It is ALOT of fun and the automatic box makes for a very lazy and relaxing drive when you want it to. This thing is a real bruiser cruiser!

The car has a full MOT and is HPI Clear

There is NO HISTORY but it will be sold with a fresh service (oil and filters).

No faults or issues at all except that the AC is not currently working and the steering wheel angles to the left a bit when driving in a straight line. We will sort this for the new owner for the full asking price otherwise it will be up to you. We think it had an aftermarket steering wheel at some point and the original one hasn’t been put on correctly basically.

We rescued this car to make a YouTube video on it and now it needs a new home - If you’d like to come and view it that’s no problem.

Our video is a completely transparent appraisal of the car and should answer any questions you have but if it doesn't please let me know.

£10,500 or (very) close offer!

We can deliver throughout Europe, if you would like an estimate just ask.

Thanks for reading!

Very 'aggressive pricing'! I don't think it'll be on the market for long...
:) :) If you watch the video you will see we reveal our costs in it! To be honest with it being unregistered it was a very cheap car so we want to pass on the savings rather than be greedy... !
