I have used my Z06 frequently over the last few years, used as a daily. The car is in good condition and is mostly standard and is currently on 56104 miles.
The modifications done to it are:
- A cheap aftermarket radio so i can use bluetooth on my phone (i have the original radio and CD player that will go with the car).
- Strange center console armrest (its quite funny looking).
- K&N air filters.
Aside from these, the car is completly standard.
While using it, the car has had the following work done:
- Bodywork seal on the right of the trunk redone.
- New clutch
- New slave cylinder
- New power steering hoses
- Front brake pads
- Full set of michelins a year ago
- New red top optima battery last summer
- Servicing every year with injector cleaning
All servicing and work was done by Ian at IGS surbiton.
I also have a big folder of service history with the car.
The car needs 2 things at the moment.
- I believe the pilot bearing is starting to go, Occasionally when the clutch is disengaged the car will make a strange noise and vibrate from the clutch. My specialist said the job would cost around 1k to do as it involves taking the clutch off again, but he doesnt have the time to do the job right now. This doesnt affect the cars drivability, and doesnt happen all the time, but it is present still.
- One of the fuel senders has failed, so the car reads from only one so the fuel reading isnt accurate (i never got round to fixing this as i used the car every day, so have just been using the trip computer instead for when to fill up the car). Estimate for fixing this is around 300-500.
Everything else on the car is in good condition, so in total it should cost about 1.5k to make perfect, but will need the time.
I havent driven it since i changed job and it has started to sit. If there are any questions please dont hesitate to ask, especially about the 2 issues.
Had a service and MOT done in October 2024, passed with no advisories.
Price wise, i am open to offers as i dont want the car to sit outside as im losing storage for it.
If i have to put a number out there, i will start it at £20,500.
