Cold weather will cause the front camera module of certain 2024 Corvette cars to become inoperative after the vehicle has sat in the cold for a while, according to a new service bulletin issued by GM.
General Motors Service Bulletin number N242453430 applies both to 2024 Corvette units owned by customers that are brought back to the dealership and those that are still in dealership inventory at the current time.

The service bulletin doesn’t specify which variants of the 2024 Corvette are included, so the bulletin presumably applies to the 2024 Chevy Corvette Stingray, the 2024 Chevy Corvette E-Ray, and the 2024 Chevy Corvette Z06.
Affected vehicles are marked as “Open” on their Investigate Vehicle History screen in the warranty management system.

The remedy to be applied is to replace the front view camera module with a new module that doesn’t have the issue with cold. The process is relatively quick for the Chevy Corvette, requiring about 24 minutes to complete.
The fix is to be applied free of charge if the vehicle is still under New Vehicle Limited Warranty coverage.

Dealership service personnel are also instructed to carry out the fix on all affected 2024 Corvette units currently in the dealership’s inventory.
These vehicles can’t be sold, delivered, traded to other dealerships, auctioned, or demonstrated until the proper fix has been applied
. Front camera modules are in limited supply, so they shouldn’t be ordered as shelf stock, but only to fix a specific affected C8.
