A dry day at last.

Annoyingly, I'm either at work, doing DIY or its raining. So I've not had time to drive any of my cars for other a month. Vette and FTO have batteries off, but my daily diesel Focus out on the driveway I leave connected as didn't think it'd not be used for so long. Went to drive it yesterday and the remote locking did nothing. So I opened it with the key in the door and VERY surprisingly it actually started (struggled, but got there).

Only to and from the local exhaust joint yesterday and this morning. I need a tig so I can do this shit myself. Anyone want a cheap pair of 2 1/2" cherry bombs that have done less than 200 miles? I have a 2" pair that have done more as well that can go too

NONE, NONE, NONE! Took the 2 in yesterday then collected that when I dropped the 3 off. I may have talked them into advertising in VN to claw some ££'s back. They are very good, very clean and do mostly custom made stuff

Managed to get mine out yesterday evening for our regional corvette Xmas dinner. 120 mile round trip. Eyes on stalks watching out for deer on the way home 🀠. Oh and the carrot tagged along too 😁

Awesome photos guys. I'm hopefully getting mine resprayed around march time but obviously I'll have to wait even longer to get it back... That's why you need 2 corvettes in case ones in the shop.

Hope you plan to mount some big signs on the monster garage?
[/QUOTE hopefully once finished and tidy with new gravel will be able to add some detail.

exciting times james, have you finalised the colour choice yet? How scary were your quotes to paint. Advise you make sure it is stripped back to the glassfibre. Mine was’nt and there was a lot of sinkage and shrinking from the paint job done in the usa. My mate’s lotus esprit was going to be stripped , then the shop realised the work involved and told him half of it was ok , …. It was’nt , and is all bubbling and flaking in several areas.,there really are no short cuts if you want atop class finish that will stand the test of time.

That’s a lovely Nassau Blue 65 Stuart πŸ‘πŸ». I had seen the Yellow LT1 was being sold by Dromey’s and thought you must be up to something! 😜 Congratulations on the new addition to the family!
