A Southern California company is offering a kit that turns the entire C8 body into a rolling carbon fiber monument for what we think is a crazy price of $19,999, Plus the costs to install this

The hood, roof, mirror covers, door handles, air ducts, rear hatch, hatch side vents, and rear sensor mount are all made of dry carbon fiber for the best weight reduction and fitment and will feature a matte finish, the company says.

Elsewhere, the newly designed front splitter lip, rocker extension panels, rear spoiler, and rear diffuser fins are produced with a vacuum-infused process by Anderson’s skilled craftsmen and feature a high-luster, show-quality finish.

The kit will give the Stingray a wide-body look as overall width increases three inches, a half inch wider than the upcoming Z06.

The overall end result, Anderson says, is a weight reduction with quality fitment and a complementary matching surface finish for all the essential carbon fiber components. In addition, the new front fascia offers enhanced cooling and aero functions.

Now you can look like a wazer but never go over 65 MPH ! :)

Ok, you've taught me the meaning of "waxer" and "racer" when it comes to Corvettes (thanks), but I have to ask what a "wazer" is? I could make a ton of educated guesses, but I'm interested to know your exact definition. :)

WaZer I defined many years ago
A Wazer is another step up from a waXer in they do all they do but also spend their lives putting shiny mods on like phony carbon fiber on outside and inside their sports car, Corvette
They highly believe the $400 plus aircleaner or catback exhaust, each giving 30 rear wheels HP
They go to a driver's class that a pace car on track leads them and do a few laps over 100 MPH
And love going to a static drum chassis dyno which weighs 2,700 pounds to where their Corvette weighs 3,400 pounds plus and get bogus
inflated HP/Tq numbers
They spent thousands of dollars covering the car in what used to be called contact shelf paper, so by magic it prevents the paint from any rocks hitting it at highway speeds.
They rank about 0 to 60 MPH numbers, but do not know what trap speed means.
They buy a C8 Z51 because the rear full wing looks cool, but have no clue what it is for

Then they go onto cyberspace forums daily and boost how great their barbie doll dressed Corvette is the baddest, and they are racers that never bounce the rev limiter or get a speeding ticket :) :-(
