Yeah! C3 stuff!:D:D Thanks. HAven't read it all yet, but nice to see a raod test from "almost my car's era"! (I have the R&T book that has a 78 featured I think.....) Good to see "Jingles" mentioned too, a name that tends to be forgotten these days.

kentvette, I'm pleased that you are aware of Jim Ingle "Jingles". I may have something very interesting from him in the near future. In 1978, he was director of the Corvette Development and Testing department, within Chevrolet Engineering.

A friend of ours in St Louis was a good friend of "Jingles", so we heard a lot of stories of his various exploits :D He used to attend events like "Corvettes on The Rockies" and "The Black Hills Classic", often bringing some "hot" or prototype Corvette. Alas, we've done both events, but after Jim's time......
