The 2024 Gold Collection will include all 4 of the Gulf Oil racing Corvettes a quartet of Corvettes that have never been shown together before. Gulf Oil and bossman Grady Daivs were both significant players in the racing community back in the day. Naturally, that involvement included several Corvettes.

The 4 Gulf Oil Corvettes to be shown in the Gold Collection include:

1961 #11 Gulf Oil Racer: One of the most dominant Corvette racers of its time. It’s one of two Corvettes delivered by Yenko Chevy to Grady Davis and debuted at the 1961 12 Hours of Sebring, where it took third place in GT. Driven by Dr. Dick Thompson and Don Yenko, it claimed victories at Bridgehampton, Indianapolis, Thompson, Road America, and Watkins Glen to claim the series championship.

1962 #2 Gulf Oil Racer: Purchased from Yenko Chevrolet and campaigned by Dr. Dick Thompson in the 1962 SCCA-A Production Class. In 14 races, the Gulf Oil ’62 Corvette finished first in class 12 times, including wins at Daytona and Sebring and captured the 1962 A-Production Championship.

1963 Z06 #1 “Gulf One”: Probably the most well-known of the Gulf Oil Racers. It’s widely considered to be the most successful factory-backed Corvette of the C2 era. It was driven by Grady Davis and Dr. Dick Thompson and won in its debut in Puerto Rico. Additional victories came at Marlboro, Maryland, Danville, Virginia, and Road America. Most notably, it took third overall and first in the GT3 class at Daytona.

1963 Z06 #38: This Gulf Oil racer currently resides at the National Corvette Museum. It’s been raced around the globe including here in the US, Germany, Belgium, and more.
