Bicester Scramble Today

Another brilliant day at Bicester Scramble with the usual massed ranks of amazing cars to suite all tastes . Plenty of American stuff to and the guy who parked up behind me in his Anniversary Edition C3 with the Crossfire engine was up from Slough . I think I have talked him into joining CCCUK . (y)
Despite previous forecasts for crap weather we had wall to wall sunshine from 9.00 am until mid afternoon so those that jibbed out at the thought of getting wet missed out on a great day . Was hoping to be joined by three other club members but only Andy Murphy and his son turned up in his side piped C3 . I couldn`t resist a `Beauty & The Beast ` shot when a massive jacked up pick parked alongside and dwarfed the Vette !DSC_2262.JPGDSC_2270.JPGDSC_2271.JPGDSC_2272.JPGDSC_2273.JPGDSC_2274.JPGDSC_2281.JPGDSC_2284.JPGDSC_2285.JPGDSC_2302.JPG

Not 100% happy with the non-power assisted brakes on my '68............this might be an option........will it match my wheels?

I find that a length of stout rope flung round a passing lamp post or telephone pole works well and takes up less space than an anchor . 🤣
